First impressions are important. Nothing in your teeth, hair in place, clothes straightened, but words are the hardest part. You don’t want to be too loud or too quiet, and you try hard in this day and age to not talk about controversial topics or accidentally offend. 

You also know words are hard or you wouldn’t be looking for a proofreader. This first blog post has eluded me for a while because I want it to be perfect. To be catchy. To get you to want to reach out to me and say, “I want you to proofread for me”. Immense pressure to make a great first impression. I’m much better in person where I can hear your tone and see your face. 

Where does that leave us then? It leaves me with the choice to take a risk and you with a choice to read this first post. The only thing to do from here is to move forward and make this first impression. So, hi! Let’s proofread–perfecting your words, one edit at a time.
